MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
Comfortable shoes, baby powder, and determination are wise to bring if you are going on a solo run. But when competing there are often mandatory equipment that you are required to wear or bring in your backpack. Here is the UTMB basic kit list:
- Running pack
- Mobile phone
- Personal beaker, 15 cl minimum
- Minimum water supply: 1 liter
- 2 x torches
- Survival blanket
- Whistle
- Bandage
- Food reserve
- Waterproof jacket with hood
- Long-legged trousers
- Cap or bandana
- An additional warm second layer
- Hat
- Waterproof gloves
- Waterproof pants
- Id card
