A welcome addition to our dry season lineup, the Stellar Light Softshell Jacket is the ultimate all-round alpine summer jacket — lightweight, wind-resistant, water-resistant, stretchable, breathable, and packable. It will excel in the rough environments that hikers, bikers, climbers, and alpinists often find themselves in, but is so versatile you can use it for a wide range of summer activities in shifting conditions.

Our much appreciated Bluesign-certified softshell fabric has been tested and proven in all conditions imaginable, from ski mountaineering in the Lofoten mountains of northern Norway, to mountain biking in the forests of British Columbia, to rock and ice climbing in the Alps. It has a smooth, structured texture that is cool to the touch. Combining quick-drying and durable nylon with elastane fibers and a PFC-free DWR treatment, the fabric is incredibly stretchable and durable with weather-resistant properties.

Designed to be worn as an outer layer, this jacket feels exceptionally light on your body, with a regular fit and an ergonomic patterning that allows for unrestricted freedom of movement. Gusseted sleeve construction makes it easy to reach over your head, and a drop-back hem helps the jacket stay tucked when wearing a harness. The adjustable oversized hood will fit over most climbing helmets for protection against the elements. Three pockets provide plenty of room for your essentials.

Fit: Regular fit.

Main fabric denier: 90D * 140D + 90D. (This fabric is a woven fabric in which the warp and weft have different denier numbers)

Waterproofness: Weather resistant. PFC-free DWR treated.

Garment weight: S : 510 g, M : 543 g, L : 561 g, XL :580 g.

Center back length: S: 64 cm, M: 66 cm, L: 68,5 cm, XL: 71 cm.

Hood/collar: Fixed hood adjustable at front with cord lock. Designed to fit over a climbing helmet. Adjustable at back with velcro adjustment.

Pockets: One zipped chest pocket. Two zipped hand pockets.

Zippers: YKK Zippers.

Breathability: Good breathability.

Sleeves and cuffs: Elastic sleeve ends. Gusseted sleeve construction for more freedom of movement.

Bottom hem: Slightly dropped bottom hem. The bottom hem is adjustable with an internal elastic drawstring and cord locks at the sides.

Wash & Care

Wash the garment in maximum 30°C, by itself or with other garments in similar colors. Make sure to close all zippers. Do not use fabric softener.

Hang dry or tumble dry at low temperature.
