The Stellar Running Shorts are designed for long trail runs in mixed mountainous terrain. Tested by our teams on three continents, these shorts have a supportive next-to-skin fit thanks to the built-in tights made from stretchable AquaTech® fabric, while providing breathable weather protection and a relaxed look using a stretchable, water-resistant and breathable ultralight shell fabric for technical performance.

    We sent these shorts to the corners of the world, testing them on endless trails, running over alpine moraines and through steaming jungles, through foggy pine forests and along dizzying granite ridges. Our goal was to develop a pair of minimalist trail running shorts that provided maximised freedom of movement, a great fit and a lightweight feel while offering high-performance breathability and sufficient weather protection. Many sweat-induced high-pulse hours later (the trail fanatics on our team are easily convinced) — this is the result.

    The built-in tights are incredibly stretchable and comfortable, providing a snug, secure fit while minimising chafing. The outer shorts are made from a lightweight, stretchable, breathable and water-resistant shell fabric, keeping you cool and dry. Technical details include laser-cut ventilation holes for increased airflow and four internal gel pockets.

    Use them for trail running and skyrunning, for long-distance challenges or that afternoon jog. But always choose a beautiful trail — life is too short for asphalt.

  • Main fabric: Shorts – 100 % nylon. 52 g/sqm. Woven in China. Inner tights – 78% Polyamid, 22% Elastane. 130 g/sqm. Woven in France.

    Main fabric denier: Shorts – 20D. Tights – 51D.

    Waterproofness:DWR treated fabric – 150 mm.

    Garment weight: S 146 g, M 155 g, L 163 g, XL 174 g, XXL 182 g.

    Inseam: Outer Shorts S 18 cm, M 19 cm, L 19 cm, XL 20 cm, XXL 20 cm.
    Inner Tights: S 22 cm, M 23 cm, L 23 cm, XL 24 cm, XXL 24 cm.

    Waist: Elastic waist with adjustable drawcord for comfortable and secure fit.

    Pockets: Four easy nutrition pockets, holds up to 4 gels.

    Ventilation: Laser cut holes on both sides.

  • Wash the garment in maximum 30°C, by itself or with other garments in similar colors. Do not use fabric softener.

    Hang dry or tumble dry at low temperature.
