Designed for colder days in the resort, the new Stellar Shell Down Jacket represents a versatile blend of technical weather protection, premium down insulation and elegant, minimalistic styling. Whether you are heading for sidecountry powder laps, progressive angulations on the groomers or maybe some belay duty, this jacket will keep you warm, comfortable and protected from the elements. It is lightweight and durable, designed for alpine exposure by combining the finest and most innovative ultra-high-end materials from our portfolio.

The newly developed 2-layer shell is built from a new 100% pre-consumer recycled Japanese nylon fabric, paired with the unrivalled Dermizax™ technology from Toray. It offers the exceptional waterproofness, durability and low weight that defines our brand. You will have a hard time finding any shell material that can compete with its performance.

It is filled with premium 850 fill power European goose down, with an outstanding insulation-to-weight ratio. The hydrophobic down is proprietary, plasma-treated, and water-repellent, maintaining its insulation capability even when wet. It is also PFC-free, RDS-certified, bluesign®-certified, allergen-free, 100% recyclable, and completely source track verifiable.

The lining is made from Japanese technology 100% pre-consumer recycled 10-denier nylon ripstop, weighing a featherlight 28 g/m2 and so thin that you might even see the actual down clusters through the fabric.

The Stellar Shell Down Jacket is a very, very comfortable product, with an elongated relaxed fit and a straight cut for maximized comfort, performance, and unrestricted freedom of movement. The bottom hem has a drop-seat design, keeping you warm in the single-seater, and an oversized adjustable hood that will fit over any ski helmet and keep the cold out.

Of course, all seams are taped for weather protection. Two oversized YKK AquaGuard® 2-way ventilation zippers will let the excess heat out on the occasional bootpack. All zippers are stitched for improved durability.

An understated and elegant monochrome styling offsets its pure capabilities perfectly, keeping it current for years and making it easy to combine with other Stellar signature colors.

Main fabric denier: 70 D x 140 D (Woven fabric in which the warp and weft have different denier).

Lining fabric: 100% pre-consumer recycled nylon ripstop. 28g/m2. (10D)

Insulation: HyperDRY™ 850 fill power goose down from Allied Feathers. PFC free, RDS certified and allergen free. Completely source track verifiable.

Waterproofness: + 20 000 mm. DWR treated main fabric.

Breathability: Shell fabric: +25 000 g/m2/24h.
But lining fabric is very tightly woven to not let out any down through the fibers, making breathability of garment not high but with excellent insulation.

For EU + Norway customers: All orders placed before 12:00 CET (Monday-Friday) will be shipped the same day.

For all non EU customers: All orders placed before 10:00 CET (Monday-Friday) will be shipped the same day.

You pay what you see. All duties and VAT are included in the total price for your order at checkout.
Wash & Care

Fine wash the garments in cold water, maximum 30°C, by itself or with other garments in similar colors. Make sure to close all pockets and zippers. Do not use fabric softener.

After wash, tumble dry the garment on low temperature until the garment is dry. Place a couple of tennis balls in the dryer – this will help the down distributing evenly within the down clusters.
