Our iconic Ultralight Down Jacket 1.0 is one of the worlds lightest full-featured down jacket. Filled with unrivalled 1000 fill power down, it is also one of the warmest in relation to its weight, designed for extremely cold conditions. A unique high-performance layering puffy for the discerning user.

The 1000 fill power platinum down we use is unique in its ability to insulate. It can be compressed to a minimal package, and lofts immediately when unpacked. You can literally feel the down squeezing your arms when you put it on, and the sensation of warmth is immediate. The down is also treated for water resistance which makes it more durable while keeping you warm and dry even in the wet.

The shell material is a Japanese ultra-lightweight DWR-treated 34 g/m2 ripstop nylon that is so thin, you can distinguish the actual down clusters through the fabric. It can be worn as an outer jacket, but although the ultralight fabric is durable for its weight, it can get torn by sharper objects…

Full technical details

Insulation: 1000 fill power goose down. IDFL test result 1030 US / 980+ EU, 98/2% quality. RDS and bluesign®-certified.

Main fabric: Ultralight rip-stop – 100% nylon. 34g/sqm.

Main fabric denier: 10D * 20D. (This is a woven fabric in which the warp and weft have different denier numbers.)

Lining fabric: See ”main fabric”.

Down fill weight: Women’s S 70 g, M 77 g, L 84 g, XL 92 g.

Waterproofness: PFC-free DWR-treated rip-stop (main fabric). Water-resistant goose down.

Breathability: Low. This is not a garment for high-pulse activities. The extremely lightweight main fabric is very tightly woven to not let out any down through the fibers. This leads to poor breathability but excellent insulation.

Garment weight: Women’s S 218 g, M 228 g, L 240 g, XL 245 g.

Center back length: Women’s S 62.5 cm, M 65 cm, L 67.5 cm, XL 70 cm.

Hood/collar: High comfortable collar with chin guard triangle.

Pockets: One zipped chest pocket. Two zipped hand pockets whereof one doubles as stow bag.

Zippers: YKK zippers.

Ventilation: No ventilation.

Sleeves and cuffs: Pre-bent and extra long sleeves for extra freedom of movement. Elastic cuffs.

Bottom hem: Bottom hem adjustable with elastic drawstring. Extended back.

Snowgaiter: No snowgaiter.

RECCO: No RECCO reflector.

Extra features: Can be stowed into its own pocket (zipper works two ways in one of the hand pockets).

Wash & Care

Hand wash or cold water wash. Do not use fabric softener.

After wash, tumble dry the garment on low temperature until the garment is dry. Make sure to close all pockets and zippers. Place a couple of tennis balls in the dryer – this will make the down distributed evenly within the garment.
