How it fits into your System

performance

Built for the biggest days.

It's the most technical jacket we make. A roomy freeride cut with articulated patterning, enlarged underarm vents, pockets that work with a backpack and a harness, and a hood built to fit over a helmet. All of it on a lighter fabric, so there's less weight on the climb and in your backpack.

SKI Magazine tested the high-end shells for 2027 and made this their Best Splurge Ski Jacket — the unanimous pick of the group, and a jacket one tester called the best piece of kit he's ever owned. Backcountry Skiing Canada rated it on par with Gore-Tex and scored it 8.5 out of 10.

Everything we know about shells is in this one.
Fully waterproof. +20 000 mm, three layers, taped seams and YKK AquaGuard zippers throughout. PFAS-free. The same storm protection as every shell we make.
Everything built in. Two chest pockets that clear a pack and a harness, enlarged vents under the arms, laser-cut venting in the collar, a fleece-lined chin guard, and a hood that works over a helmet.
Roomy enough to ski hard in. A freeride cut with articulated patterning and pre-bent sleeves, so nothing pulls when you reach, turn or climb. The sleeve runs in one piece up to the collar, so there's no shoulder seam exposed to the weather.
Lighter where it counts. The face fabric is 15% lighter than our Stellar Shell's, on the same membrane and the same waterproofing. 659 grams in size M.

How to use it

Full weather protection for the days that ask the most. Over a mid layer for storm laps, over a base layer alone on the climb, over an insulation jacket when it turns properly cold. The snow gaiter connects to all our shell pants, so in deep snow the jacket and pants close into one piece.
