Eleven years after its first release, the third generation of our flagship down parka. Built for real use and serious warmth, tested in northern Scandinavia, and refined using feedback from owners. More down, and better down. A fit that goes over all your layers. Lighter, warmer, more durable and more packable. We only redesign when there are real improvements to be made, and this is no exception.
Warm when it's really cold — 850 fill power ExpeDRY down will keep you warm even in damp conditions. And there's a lot of it, 260 g down fill in size M.
Made for women — Its own shape, designed and tested by women in the mountains. Very few parkas at this level are made for women.
Built to be big — It's roomy and lofty by design, with plenty of room for a shell and insulation layers underneath. If you plan to use it over just a layer or two, size down.
Built for alpine use — 583 grams in size M, so it still goes in the pack. Fits over harness and climbing equipment. Two-way zippers for belay access. Oversized hood that fits over all types of helmets. Ripstop fabric for durability.
How to use it
The parka you put on when everything stops moving. Over your shell at the belay, over everything at the winter camp site, over a fleece on your way home. And there isn't much winter it can't handle: northern Norway in January, a full day of ice climbing, standing still at altitude.
