The Ultralight Shell Jacket is our most minimal waterproof layer — a fully protective 3-layer shell built for warm-season missions where weight, mobility, and packability matter. Developed with Toray in Japan, the stretch 3-layer fabric provides full waterproof protection with softshell-like elasticity and strong breathability. Weighing around 200 g / 7 oz, it packs down small enough to disappear into a pocket, yet offers the same essential weather protection as our heavier alpine shells. With articulated patterning and clean construction, it stays silent and efficient on runs, scrambles, and exposed ridge days.
