A welcome addition to our dry season lineup, the Stellar Light Softshell Shorts are the ultimate all-round alpine summer shorts — lightweight, wind-resistant, water-resistant, stretchable and breathable. They will excel in the rough environments that hikers, bikers, climbers, and alpinists often find themselves in, but are so versatile you can use them for a wide range of summer activities in shifting conditions.
Our much appreciated Bluesign-certified softshell fabric has been tested and proven in all conditions imaginable, from hiking in the Lofoten mountains of northern Norway to mountain biking in the forests of British Columbia to rock and ice climbing in the Alps. It has a smooth, structured texture that is cool to the touch. Combining quick-drying and durable nylon with elastane fibers and a PFC-free DWR treatment, the fabric is incredibly stretchable and durable with weather-resistant properties.
These shorts feel exceptionally light on your body, with a regular fit and an ergonomic patterning that allows for unrestricted freedom of movement. An adjustable waist allows for a perfected fit, and there is one cargo pocket, two hand pockets and one back pocket with room for your stuff.
