The bib half of the kit a lot of us here ski in. Loose cut, long in the leg, stormproof, and built to keep snow out at the waist on the days a pant can't. Long vents down the outside of the leg, reinforced legs where edges and rock do the damage, and the contrast zippers that define the kit.
Powder put them on two Editor's Picks lists and called them "a truly stand out piece of gear from the brand", "every bit as durable as it is breathable" and fabric that "stands its ground in the wettest of conditions".
It's the one we reach for on a powder day.
A big, loose fit. Roomy through the seat and thigh. If that's what you're looking for, take your normal size. If you want a regular fit, size down, but check the inseam first, since a smaller size is also a shorter leg.
Fully waterproof. +20 000 mm, three layers, taped seams and YKK AquaGuard zippers throughout. PFAS-free.
Vents that run the length of the leg. Open them on the bootpack without stopping, and close them at the top. Press buttons along the zip regulate the airflow.
Built where it wears out. Reinforced legs against edges and rock, and an internal snow gaiter at the boot.
How to use it
Full weather protection for the days you ski hardest. Over a base layer on most days, with the Light Mid Pants or the Ultralight Down Pants 2.0 underneath when it turns properly cold. Open the leg zips on the way up instead of stopping to take a layer off.
