The Guide Shell System 2.0 is the result of extensive technical development and real-world testing by mountain guides and professionals all over the world. Stripped down to the bare necessities, this shell is designed to be used with a backpack, helmet and mountaineering equipment. It will withstand any weather conditions that you might encounter in the mountains or at high altitude, and is built to take the extended abuse of demanding alpine activities.
Made from a Japanese 100% pre-consumer recycled Dermizax™NX 3-layer nylon fabric, with tactical reinforcement panels in all high-wear areas, this shell is extremely durable while surprisingly pliable, relatively lightweight and very comfortable. It is completely waterproof, completely stormproof and highly breathable. Generous ventilation alternatives provide effective moisture transportation, and all technical details are easily accessed when wearing technical equipment, backpack and harness. All pockets are roomy enough to fit technical gear and even wider skins. An oversized adjustable hood will fit most ski and climbing helmets.
